Amethyst
Amethyst is a 15cm (6 inch) bear made from a hand dyed short dense alpaca in a soft purple shade. Her footpads are a dark purple and have heart shaped diamante as her toes. She has black glass eyes with white ultrasuede surrounds and subtle shading. She has extensive scissor and needle sculpting to create her chubby cheeks. She has a handcrafted black clay nose with a diamante inset. She is wearing a purple mirror ball around her neck.
I live in Bannister, New South Wales near Sydney, Australia on acreage with my family, dogs and horses. I make bears from mohair, alpaca and specialise in bears made from Vintage mink fur coats. I also make other critters, such as elephants, mice, rats. etc
