1st Place | Spike | Teddy Bear Barn | Spike is an exquisite 10 inches (26 cm) hedgehog. He is crafted from a beautiful hand painted Schulte mohair and soft smooth white alpaca. Spike's front body is made of alpaca and his face is needle felting with matching brown wool. Spike has black glass eyes with black and white felt under them. Spike's nose is also made of black glass. Spike is filled with glass sand and polyester and fully jointed. Spike has a big smile on his gorgeous face. By looking at him every day, it will bring you a big smile on your face too. |

Equal 2nd Place | Rosewood | Selwyn Bears | Rosewood is a stunning bear She is made using hand dyed Schulte "Silk" To give her that something extra special. She is a fully handcrafted bear & 5 way cotter pin jointed. Her nose is embroidered, waxed & airbrushed. Her face is sculpted, airbrushed & her eyes are German glass with needle felted lids. Her toes are pulled & airbrushed. She is stuffed with Poly-fill & weighted with glass beads. |
3rd Place | White Fairy | Elegant Creations | This beautiful fairy bear was created from dense 1+ inch alpaca and is about 13 inches tall with a well rounded tummy. 5-way jointed, hand stitched nose, metallic brocade paw pads backed with wool, detailed wool eye whites and added color around the eyes. Costume created from organza, netting, metallic brocade, metallic roping. Fairy skirt rolled hem work done with metallic thread. Wired metallic brocade wings attached with Velcro so they can be taken on/off as needed. Although it appears the bear stands on her own, I used a very small doll stand under one foot that cannot be seen in the photograph. I hope you like my sweet fairy girl. Bear Hugs, Vicky |
