His interesting research topics include international finance, investments, corporate finance, financial management and international business. He graduated from McGill University. To date, there is extensive evidence related to whether current domestic giving impacts future financial performance. However, no one seems to have investigated whether foreign charitable contributions or global charitable contributions made by US service firms impact subsequent financial performance. In this paper, we show that there is a strong positive correlation between current domestic giving by US service firms and future financial performance for the 2004-2014 period. However, current foreign giving (or foreign and domestic giving) does not result in future financial benefits for US service firms. Specifically, after controlling for the variables traditionally associated with giving (foreign and/or domestic), current giving is only strongly positively associated with future financial performance for the domestic giving sample.
