12月21日，【明理講堂2021年第69期】有幸邀請到香港浸會大學(xué)Christy M.K. Cheung教授為大家?guī)眍}為“When socialization goes wrong: collective trolling on social media”的學(xué)術(shù)報告。偉德國際1946bv官網(wǎng)管理與經(jīng)濟學(xué)院教授顏志軍向大家介紹了Christy老師并主持報告。
Christy老師首先向大家介紹了什么是“trolling”，和網(wǎng)絡(luò)霸凌不同，trolling更加有目的性，更加挑釁，在社交平臺上許多惡意的攻擊活動引發(fā)了憤怒的反應(yīng)。Christy老師希望利用社會技術(shù)視角來了解參與社交媒體trolling的意圖。Christy老師向大家介紹了她的研究模型，模型從社交匿名性、社會技術(shù)、社會認(rèn)同等方面檢驗了社會技術(shù)促進網(wǎng)絡(luò)trolling行為的作用，研究結(jié)果推動了這一領(lǐng)域的理論進步，同時，研究結(jié)果能夠為社交媒體平臺所有者提供實際的指導(dǎo)，幫助他們制定及時的措施來打擊trolling行為。
Christy老師的報告充分調(diào)動了與會老師和同學(xué)的興趣和積極性，報告結(jié)束后，各位老師和同學(xué)積極和Christy老師交流互動，報告反響熱烈，收到了老師和同學(xué)們的一致好評。
附：Christy M.K. Cheung老師簡介
Christy M.K. Cheung is a Professor in the Department of Finance and Decision Sciences of Hong KongBaptist University. She is the awardee of the Research Grant Council (Hong Kong) Senior ResearchFellow scheme with the funding to advance research into the role of technology in online collective deviant behavior. She earned a Ph.D. in Information Systems from the College of Business at City University of Hong Kong. Her research interests include Technology Use and Well-Being, Social Media,Societal Impact of Technology Use. She has published more than 200 refereed articles in internationaljournals and conference proceedings, including MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, Journal of Management Information Systems and Journal of the Association for Information Systems. Sheserves as the Editor-in-Chief at Internet Research and the President of AIS-Hong Kong Chapter.
