Mr. Qi JinYou is blind in left eye and myopia in right eye. Since 1986, he has been named the advanced workers of Xicheng District, won the Beijing Patriotic Labor Competition Model; 1992, joined the Communist Party of China; May 10, 1999, was elected as the general manager and party secretary of Beijing Great Wall Industry Corporation. The company has 50 employees, 60% are female and 55% with disabilities. The enterprise emerged from a bankrupt glassworks, and after more than ten years of hard work and developement, has merged painting clubs and a swords factory. In 1984, the company has available funds of only 265 yuan, at present, the total assets has reached more than 4 million.
